The Clinical Project Manager

Qurgen is seeking for applications of a full-time or part-time US-based Clinical Project Manager (CPM) who is an experienced clinical research professional to provide support and manage clinical projects under the direction of Director of Clinical Operation for our ongoing Phase I clinical studies of anti-cancer drug, SON-DP. This role requires in-depth clinical understanding, knowledge, experience, and flexibility to make informed and effective decisions independently.

The Clinical Project Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and gathering the necessary resources to complete clinical research projects and coordinate the project’s start-up, maintenance, and close-out activities. The CPM will work closely with clinical sites and the central labs to ensure the deliverables and timelines are met. The CPM will be GCP compliance, ensure ICH/GCP and SOP compliance and will report to the Director of Clinical Operations.

Post-doctoral Fellows – 2 positions

Qurgen is recruiting 2 post-doctoral scientists working on company’s research and development of new therapeutic drugs for the treatment of major diseases (malignant tumors and heart disease, etc.) under the supervision of Qurgen Chief Scientist and CTO. Closely working with the members of company’s R&D team, they will develop Qurgen’s next-generation core technologies. Qurgen research center is located in Detroit Techtown in the mid-town of Detroit.

Qualifications/Required Experience:

  • A PhD or MD degree in the relevant fields such as medicine, biochemistry, pharmacology
  • Strong knowledge of cancer biology or pharmacology or molecular biology or genetics
  • Experience conducting laboratory and knowledge of a range of research methods
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A commitment to developing new methods and approaches
